Mother Nature meant it well for the nineteen Kamp Valley gardens which are situated in one of the most beautiful regions of Lower Austria. A garden landscape, unique in Europe, has been created here in the Kamp Valley. It appeals to all the senses while at the same time offering a high degree of competence on the subject of gardening.

The combination of loess, loam and primary rock provide ideal conditions for the great diversity of species to be found in the richness and beauty of the flora of the Kamp Valley. The gardens themselves differ from one another just as the soil and countryside differ: on the one hand, the enchanting castle park and on the other, the modern adventure garden, romantic rose gardens, unspoilt herb gardens, a “Garden of the Religions”, the “Arche Noah” (Noah's Ark) whose aim is to protect ancient plant species, educational and demonstration gardens, an oriental garden, sculpture gardens and art in nature - this area is unrivalled in the astounding diversity and beauty of its gardens. Some of the gardens are fairly close to one another which enables them to be visited as part of a bike tour.
