The most important types of countryside in this region include the landscape beside the River Kamp, the western slopes of the Manhartsberg and the vineyards characterising this region. Wine, forest and river trails inform visitors about the flora and fauna and about the special features of the nature park. The wines of the region can be tasted in the “Alte Schmiede”, now used as a vinotheque, cultural centre and tourist information office. It also houses a small but interesting museum devoted to rural life.

The nature park is open all the year round.
