Skiing in the Waldviertel
The skiing regions of the Waldviertel may be small but they are exclusive and especially suitable for families with children and beginners.

There are three tow-lifts to choose from in Karlstift, the northernmost skiing region in Austria. The short runs on the 1,054 m Aichelberg are ideal for beginners, whether skiers or snowboarders. Day tickets, half-day tickets and tickets for a specific number of runs are available.
