The warm whirlpool, the salt-water pool and the sauna relaxation pools are filled with a 1.5 %, the relaxation pool and the impressive granite pool with a 5 % salt concentration. The high concentration of salt in the water makes you feel as if you are floating in the water, relieving the pressure on limbs and joints and stimulating the circulation - just like on holiday at the Dead Sea. The skin also benefits from the salt water, cleansing, toning and smoothing it, and making it tingle pleasantly - almost like bathing in champagne! There is also a standard 25-metre sports pool, a sauna immersion pool as well as an indoor and outdoor pool for children, all of which are filled with fresh water. The 65-metre water slide attracts both the young and the young at heart.

Bright light-filled halls with a view out on to the idyllic Lake Aßang, pleasant rounded designs, bright friendly colours and a wave-shaped roof all contribute to the atmosphere of well-being and relaxation. The entire complex blends in with the beautiful Waldviertel landscape to wonderful effect.

The interior also pays homage to the surrounding Waldviertel countryside in the form of the unique rock hammam, natural stones and the amethyst sauna.

Next to the amethyst sauna is the agate sauna and the rock crystal/quartz sauna, all of which are very popular among guests. Each sauna has its own temperature. Indulgent massages, various cosmetic treatments and solariums complete the package. The latest attraction, the forest sauna made from Finnish kelo-pine, has been open since the end of April 2008.

Monday to Thursday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Sole-Felsen-Bad is always open until 11 p.m. on days immediately prior to a public holiday.
