This castle, extensively restored in the past, is situated near the Thurnberg reservoir. The outside walls and the courtyard are the only parts accessible to visitors. In the fairytale tower there is a plaque to the memory of Margarethe of Austria, the last of the Babenbergs. She spent the last years of her life here having been banned from court by her husband, Ottokkar, King of Bohemia.
