Whether you decide to go with your family or as part of a group - llama trekking is an unforgettable experience. You will be accompanied on your trek through woods, across fields and beside the river by a llama guide, a so-called “llamero”, and the llamas themselves will transport your luggage. The trekking tours are put together in such a way as to meet the participants` individual requirements - treks can last between two and eight hours. For example, a trek to the “Buchenstein” ruin starting off from the Liebnitz Mill near Raabs an der Thaya lasts about two and half hours while the tour to the ruined Kollmitz Castle requires a whole day.
