Our restaurant seats around 200 people and serves traditional home cooking made from regional produce. Thematic focuses such as asparagus, game or pumpkin weeks highlight seasonal foods and bring variety to the menu. There is always a wide range of pizzas and burgers on offer, homemade of course. In the adjoining café, guests are tempted by pies, cakes, strudels, Waldviertel specialties, ... from the in-house pastry shop. Another highlight: the bakery - artisan, original - just like the bread and pastries from Weingartner. Fresh daily from the master baker, you are spoiled for choice with a rich variety - see for yourself.

Daily fresh, tasty products of excellent quality made from regional raw materials. Equipped with the knowledge of traditional baking skills, we keep the variety high: classic rolls, sticks, loaves, mixed breads, spelt pastries, seasonal creations and even genuine wholemeal breads. The rich "Körberl" from Weingartner in Groß Gerungs and Weitra, we combine lifestyle with "baked cultural assets".

The gastro hot-spot in Groß Gerungs. Why? We are open every day and serve hot meals throughout the day. Weingartner offers traditional home cooking with regional and seasonal products, pizzas, burgers and daily menus (online menu).
Suitable ambience
Whether a private meal, company celebration, birthday party, excursion group or funeral party - we can arrange a separate room for each individual occasion. We have space for a total of 200 people.
We have always run a café-pastry shop attached to the bakery. Our cakes, slices and Waldviertler delicacies (tip: DIE Waldviertler Monzelten to take away) are enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.
