Description
The Gars Fire Brigade Museum contains a large collection from the long tradition of the oldest fire department in the Horn district.
The history of the fire department is also the everyday history of the people who live here. The fire department museum is therefore a museum of technology and local history at the same time - interesting and worth seeing for young and old, experts and laymen alike. Everything from the development of the earliest fire protection is presented on over 250 m² of exhibition space. The items on display are not only equipment from Gars am Kamp, but also representative objects from the district and the surrounding area.
