You can tell that our Gasthof Hofbauer is a family business because you will feel at home here from the very first moment. However, here we are responsible for fulfilling your wishes and your only task is to relax - and this should be anything but difficult for you here in Jagenbach.

In summer, no one should miss out on strolling through the fields or foraging for mushrooms and mushrooms in the woods or soaking up some color in the outdoor pool.

In winter, those with sporting ambitions can hire our own ski equipment and try their hand at cross-country skiing on well-groomed trails. All year round we can also recommend our well-equipped fitness room, which prevents a little belly from giving our kitchen too good a testimonial.

Our guests also feel comfortable in the rooms equipped with shower/WC and satellite TV, which guarantee a restful night's sleep thanks to their quiet location on the outskirts of the village. If you don't feel like hitting the hay so early, you can enjoy a good drop of wine or a Zwettler beer at the bar and listen to the landlord Manfred tell his "guaranteed true hunting stories".

Hunting enthusiasts among the guests are sure to get the chance to spot a blackbuck in Manfred's well-tended hunting grounds. And children can experience roe deer away from the Disney romance on a hide or get up close and personal with fallow deer and red deer on a visit to the game enclosure.

Something very special is our cozy ballroom, which can accommodate more than 300 people. Whether it's a ball, wedding, anniversary or milestone birthday - with us your celebration will be a success and an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

We also welcome scouts or youth groups, who can either stay in our simple and inexpensive accommodation or camp on the huge meadow around the house. It goes without saying that a crackling campfire is part of the romance.
