Route description Around Eggenburg
The route starts at the Krahuletz Museum and leads over the city moat, past the city wall, over the roundabout heading north. You leave Eggenburg on Felberstraße and continue along Johann Leidenfroststraße heading east, crossing the B35 and Engelsdorfer Straße (beautiful view of the medieval town). Finally, you return to Eggenburg via the route of the "Meiseldorfer Teich hiking trail".

From Vienna via the A22 to Stockerau, then on B4 towards Horn to Maissau, turnoff to Eggenburg on B35, 8 km remaining.
Or from Stockerau via B303 to Hollabrunn and then continuing on B2 via Schöngrabern to Eggenburg.
From the West Motorway (A1), take the St. Pölten East exit to S33 towards Krems to Gedersdorf, continue on B35 via Straß and Mühlbach to B4, then turn left towards Horn to Maissau, turnoff to Eggenburg on B35 to Eggenburg.
From the Czech Republic via 413 through Hnanice/Mitterretzbach, continue on B35 via Retz to Eggenburg

Public, free parking at the Eggenburg Town Hall, access via Kühnringerstraße or Leinwandbleiche.
