One particularly beautiful nature conservation project is the dragonfly pond, which is located right in the "3-country corner" of the municipalities of Burgschleinitz-Kühnring, Maissau and Straning-Grafenberg. An idyllic pond has been created there, where dragonflies threatened with extinction as well as newts and lizards feel very much at home. The dragonfly pond is also home to the "Old Cow", a legendary, centuries-old wobbling stone.
