The market town of Ludweis-Aigen is a hiking and nature experience region. Originally 7 municipalities, the area has grown to 52 km2. There are numerous mills, wayside shrines and small monuments to discover along the romantic hiking trails. The Franz-Josefs Jubiläumspark, the marble high grave of the nobles of Hofkirchen in Aigen, the Sebastiankapelle in Liebenberg, the Zollerfresken in Blumau and the pillory in Ludweis are the most worthwhile monuments in the municipality.

A special feature of the municipality are the extremely cheap building plots at a price of € 4 in a quiet and prime location.
