Infostelle Sallingberg
Description
Gentle hilly landscapes around lush meadows, cool ponds and green forests - this is the Sallingberg, the "Mountain of the Blessed", as our ancestors called it 900 years ago. And quite rightly so, because here, in the midst of the wonderful nature of the Waldviertel, you can really experience blissful moments!
The municipality of Sallingberg is supported by many hard-working hands on a voluntary basis! In addition to an elementary school and a Nö Landeskindergarten in the village, there are also various businesses, as well as a general practitioner and a private dentist. In addition to the parish churches in Sallingberg and Grainbrunn, there are also numerous chapels in the villages belonging to the municipality, as well as the most famous chapel - the Bründl Chapel in Grainbrunn.
TIP: Around Sallingberg, there is the Mohndorf, Mohnwirt and Mohnmühle, wonderful hiking trails and a swimming pond with leisure facilities. Another information point is located at Mohnwirt Neuwiesinger, Armschlag.
