Description
The hike begins at the village square of Harmanschlag. After the entrance to the archery park, turn left towards Oberort along the Althüttenbach. In Oberort, continue towards Gemeindeberg and through the forest towards Nebelstein. The last part of the hike is strenuous and leads along a narrow, steep path towards the Nebelsteinhütte. But then you will be rewarded with a great view from the newly designed viewing platform. At the Nebelsteinhütte, you can refresh yourself. The way back to Harmanschlag goes via the former village part Himmelreich and Althütten. Then it continues above the ski lift to Arramartel and then along the ski slope back to Harmanschlag.

Route description Nebelsteinweg (from Harmanschlag)
The hike starts at the village square of Harmanschlag. After the archery park, turn left towards Oberort. Once there, turn right onto Nebelsteinstrasse and after a short distance, turn left towards Gemeindeberg. The hike leads around Gemeindeberg and then continues right towards Nebelstein on well-marked hiking trails. After some time, you reach Nebelsteinstrasse again, where you turn right and walk a short distance. Then turn right onto a narrow, rocky path steeply uphill. Upon reaching the Nebelsteinhütte, continue a little further uphill towards the viewing platform. The return route leads along the Nebelsteinweg towards the parking lot, then turn left towards Harmanschlag. After a few minutes, turn right towards Himmelreich and Althütten. In Althütten, at the last house, turn right towards Arramartel. It continues straight for a long time, passing the top station of the Arralifte to Arramartel. From there, it goes parallel to the lift downhill back to town.
Directions
Coming via the B41 from Gmünd or Freistadt towards Harmanschlag. There is a large parking lot by the church, which is the starting point of the hike.
