The Schatzbühel circular trail leads from the church in Brand through the village, along the Purzelkamp, past the Saliera discovery site, over the Loschberg to the village of Wiesenreith and back to Brand.

Route description Schatzbichlweg - "Salierawanderung"
Starting from Gasthaus Hagmann in Brand or from the church, the path first descends into the village of Brand, then gently rises passing a plague memorial and the Schatzbichl. You continue to hike on well-maintained paths downhill to the former brickworks at the Rührmühle. Afterwards, the path runs through a wooded area along the Purzelkamp. A slight ascent through the forest follows up to the highest point of the municipality, the Loschberg. From the Loschberg, the path goes downhill past the village of Wiesenreith and the Wiesenreither pond. Mostly flat, the path leads toward Brand and after a final short ascent returns to the starting point at the church in Waldhausen.
From Vienna via A22 and S5 or A1 and S33 to Krems, continue on B37 towards Zwettl. Before Zwettl (near Rudmanns) turn towards Brand.
From Linz via the A7 to Unterweitersdorf - then on S10 to the Sandl exit - via B38 to Zwettl. In Zwettl, take B37 towards Krems and after Zwettl (near Rudmanns) turn right towards Brand.
