Route description Steinkreuzweg

Experience the Way of the Cross in the great outdoors! From the main square, you follow a circular path of a different kind through forest and fields. The 14 stations of this path, where you can fully focus on the theme, are easy to walk through with normal footwear. You start at the main square and follow the signs. After the last station, you enjoy a wonderful view over the town of Arbesbach with its dominating ruin – the Stockzahn of the Waldviertel – as well as the mighty late Baroque parish church and above all the magnificent landscape of the Waldviertel highlands with their typical strip fields.
