Weingut Barbara Öhlzelt

Description

Barbara Öhlzelt produced her first vintage in 2004 and is now well established both nationally and internationally. Without exception, she vinifi es white wines full of character with a focus on the Grüne Veltliner and Riesling varieties, which come from the first vineyards in Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) - Heiligenstein, Kogelberg and Lamm. It also produces a juicy Gemischter Satz - "Gut gegen Nordwind" - with the successful author Daniel Glattauer, which grows on the Wagram.

Kamp Valley ("Kamptal Verjus" in German) has complemented her range since 2007. Together with her husband, the award-winning chef Karl Schwillinsky, Barbara Öhlzelt produces Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) Verjus from Grüne Veltliner and Zweigelt. Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) Verjus is perfect for sauces, marinades, soups and for making desserts and ice cream. Verjus is also the perfect partner for pickling fruit and vegetables. There are no limits to the use of Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) Verjus, as Zweigelt Verjus also tastes excellent when spritzed with soda or water.
