Weingut Groiss
Description
The Groiss winery is a family business that has been involved in viticulture and the production of high-quality wines in the idyllic Mittelberg for several generations. The family cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards, mostly in the famous Loiserberg vineyard. This is the basis for the wines, which are vinified with great emotion and experience in order to bring the potential of the location, soil conditions, grape variety and annual weather conditions into the bottle as optimally as possible. The soils are characterized by primary rock. The climate is influenced by hot, Pannonian influences as well as cool currents from the Waldviertel. This mix of warm and cool air is particularly helpful for the development of the aromas.
