Weingut Josef Burger

Josef Burger and his family have been running the winery in Gobelsburg-Zeiselberg since 1992, with a winemaking tradition dating back to 1812. They currently cultivate 20 hectares of vines in the best locations. The grapes are gently pressed. Slow, cool fermentation of the grape musts produces fruity, sparkling white wines. Depending on the variety, red wines are matured in large oak barrels or small barrique barrels. Many years of experience and openness to modern knowledge are part of the recipe for success.
