ARRA-Bogensport Harmanschlag

Archery

Description

The start of the archery course is located directly in the village of Harmanschlag, right next to the ARRA lifts and covers an area of 10.5 ha. Most of the course runs through the forest, which offers protection from too much sun, wind and rain. The course comprises 40 stations - along the way, shooters climb to the highest point of the Arraberg (approx. 900m above sea level) and are rewarded with a fantastic view. For family, club or company outings, as well as for those who prefer the leisurely aspect to the sporty, there is the option of shortening the course to 20 or 34 stations, which are located on a relatively easy route.

The extended version leads up to the start houses of the ARRA lift and entices with a magnificent view over almost the entire Waldviertel. So that nobody has to complete the entire route in one go, there is a refreshment station at the middle station of the ARRA lifts where you can quench your thirst and take a short break. Even after mastering the course, no one has to go home hungry or thirsty, as the nearby inns will take care of your physical well-being.

If you want to test your talent with a bow and arrow for the first time, then you've come to the right place! Professional instruction and 50 pieces of rental equipment are available on site.

The Harmanschlag archery team looks forward to seeing you there!
