COLORFUL THINGS FROM NATURE
The Baldrian & Hackel studio is located at 850m above sea level, directly on the Nebelstein adventure hiking trail. In the lovingly renovated stone house, illustrator and biologist Brigitte Baldrian works with graphic designer Harald Hackel on picture books, games and fine stationery. The thing is: Conventional toys and picture books often travel halfway around the world before they end up in a child's bedroom. Brigitte Baldrian & Harald Hackel offer a regional, sustainable alternative. With their products, they open a window to local nature and inspire young and old with robust, timeless toys and stationery.
The family-run manufactory has been supplying over 170 retailers in Austria, Germany and Switzerland for more than 10 years.
While shipping and warehousing take place in Weitra, the colorful studio and studio store are located in Obermaißen. Here you can browse through the entire range - a look at the tools and work tables shows the diversity of regional craftsmanship.
Over 200 different greeting cards, calendars and posters make the range interesting for adults too.
