Crooked Creek Ranch - Waldviertel Alpakas

The alpaca farm "Crooked Creek Ranch" in Waldhausen is currently home to 9 alpacas, four horses, a dog and two cats. You can purchase various products made from alpaca wool on site: Blankets (quilts with fleece filling, but also "pure" knitted blankets), warm socks, beautiful hats, gloves, scarves, stoles and much more. The Crooked Creek Ranch is located at an altitude of approx. 700 m in the Waldviertel. The Rauner family has lived there with their 4-legged companions for many years. In the beginning it was "only" cats, then horses (Missouri Fox Trotter), the "guardian of the herd" - Luigi and finally in April 2015 the alpacas joined them. The alpacas have large grazing areas around the family home, which can be extended as required. Together with the quiet location of the farm, it is an ideal starting point for a pleasant alpaca life.
