As chance would have it, I came into contact with the topic of "grilling and barbecuing" during a study trip to Holland in 1998. I very quickly realized that this form of food preparation combines many positive aspects. In addition to the health aspects, such as low-fat preparation, preservation of natural ingredients, etc., barbecuing promotes social interaction between people, both indoors and outdoors. In my opinion, this is an important aspect in a society with little communication.
Since winning the title of double world barbecue champion, I now see it as my task to convince consumers through my activities and products that barbecuing is the most wholesome form of food preparation for healthy people at any time of year.
That's why I offer various barbecue seminars, barbecue workshops and culinary events at Burgerwiesen throughout the year.
