Description

The Kautzen local history museum is housed in a historic building. The exhibition on the ground floor provides an insight into the history of Kautzen. The workshops are located on the top floor. They show old crafts and old farming tools. A special attraction is the "Living Museum", where knowledgeable staff demonstrate and explain the old craft techniques. The "Living Museum" takes place from May to October on the first Sunday of every month from 9 am to 12 noon.

Special exhibitions are held regularly in a separate room on the ground floor.

Pupils and students over 15 years € 1,-

Children and students up to 15 years free

Group prices on request (groups are also welcome on weekdays upon registration)
