Description

The private museum of the Jares family provides an insight into the time of Emperor Franz Josef. The museum contains well over 5,000 exhibits such as books, ball donations, busts, porcelain, clocks, jewelry, magazines, savings banks, postcards, pipes, ancestral tablets, walking sticks, tobacco tins, etc. After the viewing, a small k & k café with imperial pastries is available for free donations.

The Historische Gruppe Wienings (HGW) has set itself the task of maintaining the tradition of the imperial and royal era and taking part in historical events. Anyone who feels connected to this period is welcome to join our association. Support this tradition with a membership for € 15.00 per year or become an active member for € 20.00 per year and take part in historical events of the imperial era with us.
