Description

St. Barbara's Chapel, a small cruciform central building from 1740, has a straight east wall divided by pilaster strips, a profiled eaves cornice, a profiled stone wall portal and segmental arch windows. Its ridge turret was added in 1887. The round central room is vaulted by a flat dome. The arms of the cross are rounded in the slightly longer main axis. There is also a transverse barrel vault with plaster bands.

The dome has a profiled round medallion and cornice. A mural of the Holy Trinity can be seen in the choir, which is marked Klaus 1895. The marbled high altar shows a picture of St. Barbara from the mid-18th century in a carved gilded frame with putti on the sides.
