Description
The cross-country ski trail network in Bärnkopf offers over 65 km of trails through the forests of the Weinsberg Forest. The trails are easy to moderately difficult and skaters also get their money's worth. The local trail is groomed for classic and skating, and there is also a separate 5 km skating trail. A special highlight is the floodlit trail on the local trail, which is open every Friday from 19:00 to 21:00 if there is enough snow, or on other days if booked in advance.
The start of the trail is in the village, at the leisure center. There is also a free parking lot, a drinks/snack machine and WC facilities.
