Strandbad Plank am Kamp
Outdoor adventure, Ponds, lakes and springs, Swimming site / lake
Description
Bathing in the Kamp has a long tradition. Anyone who has ever driven through the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) will have noticed the old wooden bathhouse painted red and white. It is part of the Kampbad in Plank and the sight of it alone will put you in a cheerful bathing mood. People used to cool off here around 100 years ago and still do today. A natural pool like this has become rare, which is precisely why it is so popular today. There is a beach volleyball court, a children's playground and a beach tavern next to the riverside pool, which is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm from May to September.
