Zöbinger Kellergasse am Heiligenstein
Cellar-lined roads
Description
Zöbing is one of the most important wine-growing villages in the country. Heiligenstein in particular is considered one of the most important Riesling vineyards in the whole of Europe. The wine cellar lane at Heiligenstein boasts several cozy wine taverns with pretty gardens and arbors. Every summer, the cellar doors are opened for the traditional Kellergassenfest. The best views over the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) are also tempting.
Tip with a view: Kamptalwarte
Fancy a magical half-hour hike - through the forest and across picturesque wine terraces? You can hike to the Kamptalwarte from Zöbing via the wine cellar lane on Heiligenstein. At 351 meters above sea level, the 21-meter-high tower offers a particularly beautiful view of the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German).
