History:

Our inn and butcher's shop has existed since 1925, when my grandfather, Eduard Laister, took over the existing family business together with his wife Leopoldine.

In 1959, he handed over the business to his son Leo, who ran it with his wife Ernestine

until his death in 1989. My mother continued to run the business until she retired.

Hall:

A wide variety of events regularly take place in our hall.

If you would like to celebrate a birthday party, Christmas party, christening or other family celebrations with us, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.

Landlady Heidi Laister on the food on offer:

"A good roast pork with potato dumplings, a schnitzel with Waldviertel potato salad or a juicy roast beef. Traditional Waldviertel cuisine with fresh products from our butcher's shop. My homemade pastries offer a sweet finish for the palate!"
