Gasthof Krupik
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
Gasthof Krupik has been cooking up fresh food since 1986. Moving with the times, Renate Krupik's family-run inn is committed to old virtues: Products from the region, passion in the kitchen and hospitality. Guests will not find any artificial luxury in Steinbach near Nagelberg. It is nature itself that skillfully sets the scene. Under the large walnut trees in the shady pub garden, the professionally prepared dishes go down extremely well. This also applies to the interior. The large banqueting hall or the modern rustic parlor offer a mix of old and new elements. The guest rooms, which were completely renovated in 2019, are particularly charming.
Waldviertel cuisine with pizzazz
The cuisine at Gasthof Krupik is above average. The values of Lower Austrian inn culture are proudly displayed. Meat, fish, eggs, fruit and vegetables are primarily sourced by local producers. The fresh produce is used to create down-to-earth dishes. International influences give the menu even more pizzazz. The half-dozen vineyard snails are gratinated with herb butter and served with toast. Not an everyday starter, but a culinary experience. The pike-perch fillet is crispy fried with fresh herbs and potatoes. For dessert, guests are once again given a taste of the regional specialties. The Waldviertel pancakes, filled with Powidl, are topped with sour cream and poppy seeds.
