Cafe Restaurant „Waldviertler Schnitzelwirt“

Café / confectionery, Restaurant

Description

It all began in 1977, when Alfred and Theresia Völker opened a small coffee restaurant, which was expanded five years later to include a dance café. Due to a fire in February 1988, the restaurant was completely renovated together with son Thomas Völker and his wife Marion. The so-called Tanzkaffee was officially declared a discotheque and opened for the first time in November 1988.

In October 1989, Thomas successfully passed his final apprenticeship examination as a waiter and later also his license examination, taking over his parents' restaurant, which was to be called the "Waldviertler Schnitzelwirt" from then on.

Together with his wife Marion, his children Michael and Tanja and the perfectly coordinated service team, the Waldviertler Schnitzelwirt has now been spoiling its guests for more than three decades with Austria's most popular dish - the schnitzel, numerous variations of it, as well as many classic dishes from regional and seasonal cuisine.

In the evening, the menu is complemented by a wide selection of pizzas and there is also the opportunity to dance the night away in the in-house disco.

Whatever you choose, we will always do our best to meet your expectations!
