Wirtshausbrauerei Haselböck

Tavern / inn

Description

As the name suggests, everything at the Haselböck pub brewery revolves around barley juice. Beer is the flavor-giving soul of the house. But that wasn't always the case. Waltraud and Paul Haselböck's pub has existed since 1993, and it was only six years later that their passion turned into a pub brewery. The house beers not only taste excellent in the glass, but also give selected dishes a special touch: from schnitzel in beer batter to a spicy beer spread. Dining takes place in a bright dining room. Guests should definitely order the classic beer-crusted roast in natural juice, served with homemade Waldviertel dumplings. The dedicated innkeepers also prepare traditional dishes such as the Waldviertler Schnitzel filled with bacon, onions and mushrooms.

Homemade and unadulterated

The tavern brewery in Münichreith am Ostrong tempts guests with homemade beer and traditional Waldviertel dishes, but Haselböck's other in-house productions are also on the increase: beer vinegar, creeper jam, apricot chutneys and homemade lemonades are available in the tavern store. Wirtshausbrauerei Haselböck is known for its top-class, regional, down-to-earth cuisine. But of course also for its many homemade beer creations. Homemade beer is a specialty that guests love to come here for. Just like the nearby Excursion destinations such as the Ysperklamm gorge and the castles of Pöggstall and Artstetten.
