A retreat that couldn't be more beautiful
Old walls with a special magic. Flax was processed into linen in our 18th century hairdressing salon. Today we take you back to a romantic memory of times gone by!
Lovingly and carefully restored, with the charm of something special, we welcome guests who are looking for temporary relaxation. It is in the tranquillity that the beauty of this region becomes clear!
On the outskirts of the small village of Klein Zwettl (Zwetlarn) about 20 km to the Czech Republic, in a quiet location between forests, meadows, ponds and fields with a view of the fortified church from the 12th century!
A natural swimming pond approx. 2 km, nearby the Thayarunde cycle path on the old railroad line over 111 km, Golfclub Haugschlag, member of The Leading Golf Courses, in approx. 18 km...and many places and towns worth seeing in the nearby Czech Republic. In the house with approx. 85 m² you can expect ...
a fully equipped country house kitchen with worktop made of Waldviertel granite, electric stove with oven, dishwasher, kettle with tea assortment, espresso machine including capsules, salt & pepper, sugar ... and a welcome greeting with local delicacies.
The cozy living room with dining table and a soapstone fireplace (firewood available) and in front of it a cozy wing chair.
From the kitchen you have direct access to the approx. 150m² fenced garden, almost invisible through many bushes and above the impressive fortified church. There are sun loungers and seating areas in the garden.
Relaxed dogs are welcome and well protected by the fence!
From the kitchen to the living room with sofa, piano, small library with books, magazines and information about our beautiful Waldviertel.
One bedroom with double bed, down comforters, fluffy bed linen & terry towels, adjoining small bathroom with shower and separate WC.
WLAN, underfloor heating by air heat pump.
Non-smoking!
Per day all inclusive for the house 120 Euro for a minimum stay of three nights.
Arrival from 3 pm - departure until 3 pm
We live with two cats and two dogs (Jack Russell and Otterhound) in the outbuilding approx. 100 m away, separated by a fence and trees!
