This charming vacation villa on the outskirts of Ottenschlag is ideal for a year-round vacation in the southern Waldviertel.
The vacation home, which was carefully renovated in 2024, is about a 1-minute walk from the local bathing lake (with beach, pond bar and leisure facilities).
The village center is also within walking distance (shops, coffee houses, inn, bank, hairdresser, etc.).
Beautiful hiking trails and mountain bike trails are in the immediate vicinity, the entrance to the cross-country ski trails is only approx. 300 m away.
Ottenschlag is the Waldviertel winner of the "Tut Gut" hiking trails.
The Wachau World Heritage Site with famous towns such as Dürnstein, Weißenkirchen, Spitz, Krems or Melk, including their high-quality gastronomy and countless wine taverns, is not far away and is ideal for culinary and cultural excursions all year round.
The house itself boasts a large, fenced-in garden with a south-facing terrace, a playground/lawn with a newly planted orchard (apricot, apple, pear, cherry, plum and walnut trees) and a children's playhouse. The garden has been awarded the "Nature in the Garden" plaque by the state of Lower Austria.
Shade is provided by a large, old spruce tree, under which you can comfortably spend time in a deck chair.
A total of three bedrooms with double beds are available for up to 6 people.
A sunny eat-in kitchen with dining area is ideal for breakfast.
Directly opposite the kitchen are the cozy living room and a dining room.
A conservatory on the 1st floor is ideal for reading in comfort.
Relaxation after a long day out, whether in winter on the cross-country ski trail or in summer on the numerous hiking trails, can be found in the in-house infrared sauna.
You can also enjoy the many organic products that are sold directly from the farmers in the immediate vicinity or can be bought in farm stores. A list of the most important products and addresses is available in the vacation home.
Electricity costs are included up to € 30/week, additional consumption is charged at € 0.35/kwSt.
The new pellet central heating is included, as is the final cleaning.
The tourist tax has to be paid extra (€ 2,50/night/person, from 16 years).
From 2026 the tourist tax costs € 2,60/night/person.
Well behaved dog allowed on request (€10/night)
Deposit: 20% after receipt of the booking confirmation of the vacation home, the rest of the total amount is to be transferred up to 5 weeks before arrival. No cash payment at the accommodation.
