The SONNENTOR experience in the Waldviertel region is expanding its range to include exceptional overnight accommodation. In the town of Zwettl, 15 minutes from the main location of the tea and spice specialist, 5 vacation apartments called Stadt-Lofts have been welcoming their first guests since 2024.
Once upon a time...
...a house on the Zwettl town wall. Over the centuries, it was home to many people and stories. Now new life has been breathed into the old walls. 5 cozy vacation apartments invite you to spend an eventful night in the middle of the town of Zwettl. When you open the large wooden entrance gate at Landstraße 53, you are greeted by an impressive view of historic walls and a blooming natural garden in the inner courtyard. The garden is surrounded by the Zwettl city wall, which invites you to let your gaze wander over the Zwettl valley with a viewing platform. With a size of 23 to 79 m2, they offer space for 1 to 7 people. Modern rooms and areas designed with attention to detail and natural materials ensure peace, relaxation and well-being. Dorli Damals, Rusti-Karl, Sieglinde Schwarz, Rosa and Rudi Retro - these are the names of the 5 city lofts. As their names suggest, each apartment welcomes guests with its own unique style. But that's not all. "Come in" is the motto in the welcome room, which welcomes guests on vacation and to the house. The communal kitchen "Aufgetischt" invites you to try out new things and enjoy a cozy get-together, while a seminar room lets you discover new things with a view.

With original furniture, found objects, stories from contemporary witnesses, digital surprises, puzzles and interesting facts about the house and the surrounding area, the 5 Stadt-Lofts allow you to immerse yourself in the history of the house and the city. In the middle of the city and yet surrounded by Waldviertel nature, an extraordinary vacation experience with plenty of flair, emotion and relaxation awaits you.
