Whether it's the listed Ottenschlag Castle from the early 16th century or the late Gothic Catholic parish church of St. James: Ottenschlag is home to several historical eye-catchers for interested visitors. A great excursion destination is the Waldviertler Mohnhof: in addition to a lovingly furnished poppy museum with a permanent exhibition, high-quality specialties made from grey, blue and white poppies are on offer.
