Route description Hirschenstein-Ödhof

You walk through the town area past the sports field to the main road. After about 200 m, turn right and hike through a closed forest area to the junction with routes no. 41/46/53. From here, turn right and follow the approximately 1 km long path – on the left is the Ödhof – on the right the side path to the summit cross of Hirschenstein (summit cross with summit book and history). You follow the side path back to the crossroads, turn right onto the path to the Ödhof, and take the steep climb. Past the “Materl” you walk a beautiful forest path through the former Paluzenau moor area with a small pond to the main road. Now follow the signs back to Gutenbrunn.
