Gasthaus Kaminstube
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
In landlady Petra Zlabinger's Kaminstube, the dishes taste that little bit better knowing that most of the meat, vegetables and fruit are of Waldviertel origin. The roast pork with Waldviertel dumplings has long been legendary in the traditional inn in Schwarzenau. Beef dishes are highly recommended - the Brunner family's "organic pasture-raised beef" label from Schlag guarantees high-quality meat. Chicken is also experiencing a renaissance in the Kaminstube and develops its best flavor on the charcoal grill. When it comes to desserts, it is the poppy seed noodles that sweeten the guests' visit to the inn. Yes, the one or other international dish can also be found on the menu. But it is and remains the Waldviertel that leads the way in culinary terms.
Waldviertel culinary and cultural expertise
The Zlabinger family's Kaminstube has been around since 1990 and has earned an excellent reputation in Schwarzenau and the surrounding area for its culinary expertise. A great deal of hospitality and a clearly noticeable folksiness are characteristic of the house. In addition to the regional and seasonal inn specialties, locals and day-trippers alike appreciate the cultural offerings. Cultural delights of the highest quality are served in the restaurant, ballroom or cozy garden. The regular cabaret evenings are always well attended. On request, landlady Petra Zlabinger is happy to give guests a personal tour of the adjacent and historic Schwarzenau Castle.
