Gasthof Lang

This business is excellent…

  • Lower Austrian inn culture

Description

Behind the yellow and rather striking façade of Gasthof Lang lies a genuine inn. Guests do not have to look far for the specialties of the house. From home-made roast pork, Waldviertel carp to tender veal bruschel - the seal of quality of Lower Austrian tavern culture adorns the entrance area of the inn, and deservedly so. Landlord Reinhard Lang focuses on regional and seasonal cuisine in the enchanting Weinzierl am Walde. The kitchen serves both down-to-earth and creative dishes. The garlic roast beef with roasted potato and grammel roulade and leaf salad is a mixture of both. The potato dumplings in butter crumbs are served with homemade apricot roaster. A good choice. The same goes for the poppy seed cake.

Gourmet meeting point in Weinzierl am Walde

The family business from the Waldviertel is the preferred gourmet address for a diverse clientele. The recipe for success is easy to explain: the unusual mix of inn charm, lovingly selected table accessories, great food and good service is what makes it so special. The high-quality basic products in the kitchen are a positive highlight. The potatoes go from the restaurant's own farm into the cooking pot. Visitors to Gasthof Lang can choose between the rustic Stüberl, the banqueting hall with light-colored solid wood beams on the ceiling and the guest room. With the Gudenus Cave and Dürnstein Abbey, the excursion offer is also opulent.
