Are you looking for peace and relaxation on vacation? Would you like to escape the noise or the summer heat of the city? Do you want to get away from it all and experience something different? Then come and visit us in the Waldviertel! In our vacation home you can really relax and recharge your batteries.

The house can be rented by the week, i.e. from 6 nightsfrom May to September . Special arrangements are possible on request! You can find available dates on our website under availability in the calendar.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE VACATION HOME:

The special feature of our vacation home is the enclosed, secluded green inner courtyard with lawn, which offers complete privacy. Here you will find space to retreat or enjoy a cozy get-together. Younger guests can play and romp around on the lawn. Dogs can run around or find a shady spot. And dog owners can relax, as the courtyard is "escape-proof".

Current prices can be found on our website. For longer staysof 13 or 20 nights we offer a 15 or 20 % long-term discount! Take advantage of the price advantage and treat yourself to an extended vacation. The price includes utilities and final cleaning, tourist tax and meals are excluded (self-catering).

Location and infrastructure:

• Upper Waldviertel, Gmünd district, small village between Heidenreichstein and Schrems
• Arrival by car or by train and bus (nearest train stations: Gmünd NÖ, Pürbach Schrems)
• Shopping possible in Amaliendorf and Langegg (supermarket, butcher's shop and self-service farm store)
• Other shopping facilities in easily accessible small towns: Heidenreichstein, Schrems Gmünd, Waidhofen an der Thaya etc.
• Sights nearby: Wackelstein, Blockheide Nature Park, Heidenreichstein Castle, Heidenreichstein Moor Nature Park, Sole-Felsen-Bad, UnterWasserReich Schrems, Käsemacherwelt Heidenreichstein, Herrensee etc.

• Vacation home can be rented by the weekfrom 6 nightsfrom May to September , special arrangements may be possible on request
• 2 to 3 dogs welcome: Please enquire and specify breed or size (for 3 four-legged friends only small dogs by arrangement)
• Bed linen and towels available
• Firewood is provided
• Garden furniture and sun loungers in the courtyard
• Suitable for: Nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, fishermen, mushroom pickers, culture enthusiasts, dog owners etc.

Information for dog lovers:

• All rooms in our house are at ground level (some are not barrier-free).
• We have a green, secluded, enclosed courtyard with a lawn. Here your dog can play or find a place to rest.
• Walks are possible from the house (hiking trail "pfad Amaliendorf-Aalfang").
• The Rombaubach stream is just a few minutes' walk away (e.g. for cooling off in summer).
• You will find a bathing area with a sandy beach and a separate dog area in Gmünd. Your dog can really let off steam there!
• There are many excursion destinations in the Waldviertel where you can take your dog with you.
