Route description Opfersteinweg Bärnkopf

At the "marking tree" all paths branch off from the village street heading south. At a junction with overview boards you go straight downhill. Soon you will see the water surface of the Schlesinger Pond. Past the campsite – where there is a fountain and a toilet – the hike continues on a forest road. Here the Opfersteinweg separates from the other hiking trails. It heads northwest over the dam crest of the Schlesinger Pond past the old pond keeper's house. Finally, you reach the Opfersteine via a narrow meadow path. Be careful on the steep descent to the forest road! On this forest road the signposted path leads to the state road and then back to Bärnkopf in an easterly direction.
