Waldviertler Stuben - Faulenzer Hotel

The inn was integrated into Austria's first lazy hotel in 2010. Sounds promising, and it is. Host Karl Schweighofer focuses primarily on the original Waldviertel: poppy seeds, meat, fish and various vegetables all come from the far north of Lower Austria. The Waldviertler Stuben have earned an excellent reputation thanks to their culinary excellence. In addition to a monthly changing "deluxe menu" with six courses, the menu includes tavern classics such as roast pork with Waldviertler dumplings and Schweighofer Pfandl. The golden-brown fried chicken also leaves an impression. The Waldviertel poppy seed noodles with roasted plums are of course also a culinary highlight.
