The many faces of falconry can be seen at Waldreichs Castle.
Visitors can enjoy watching birds of prey in free flight. The “Birds of Prey in Free Flight” presentations take place in front of a minimum of 10 people at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Aviary tours

This is your chance to take a look at our birds of prey,
even those who do not wish to take part in the flight demonstrations. Our feathered inhabitants include: Golden eagles, white-tailed eagles, imperial eagles, giant sea-eagles, caracaras, kites, various falcons, blue buzzards, Harris hawks/desert buzzards and vultures.

Meet a range of different owl species in the Eulenpark (owl sanctuary) and find out about how they live. Take a walk through this lovingly designed woodland area, forget about the stresses of everyday life, and watch the owls in the shade and pleasant tranquillity of the forest.

Falconry Museum/Information Centre

The Falconry Information Centre is a museum which gives an overview the 3000+ year-old history of falconry. The various exhibits tell the story of falconry, from its origins in the Asian steppes, to the present day.
